Nerve/Muscle Disorders

If you have nerve or muscle complaints, Dr. G might use an EMG to help diagnose your symptoms. It’s not a big a deal as it seems!

•    EMG = Electromyography
•    Evaluates and records signals that activate the muscles
•    Detects electrical potential generated when muscle cells contract and even when they’re at rest

If you have been diagnosed with neuropathy and told there is nothing that can be done, then you just might be surprised to find out otherwise at neuroasis.  Dr. G wants to help.  Many neuropathies are the result of underlying illness or are part of an inflammatory condition that can be treated.  Unless your neuropathy has been diagnosed by a physician with expertise in this area of neurology, then you haven't had a complete evaluation and discussion regarding treatment options.

Pain, burning, tingling? Many patients find these symptoms in their feet and hands to be disabling.  Dr. G takes a pro-active approach to the symptoms of neuropathy:  most patients can be  helped by a combination of medications, physical therapy and complimentary medicine such as relaxation and meditation, as well as healthy living choices such as nutrition, vitamins and herbals, and exercise.  At neurOasis, we will guide you through the process of getting better and learning to live a happy life.
