About me: Originally from California, I’ve lived and worked in New York City for almost 30 years and am actively involved in clinical research and medical student/resident teaching at two area medical centers. Our practice and team approach to diagnosis and treatment is deeply rooted in my understanding and practice of mind-body medicine. neurOasis is proud to collaborate with Dr. Laurie Brodsky, ND, BSc., Hons in our efforts to offer our patients every available type of treatment paradigm to help them empower themselves and achieve improved health or less pain.  Dr. Laurie graduated with high honors from the medical program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, and from a year-long clinical internship at the largest Naturopathic clinic in North America, the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, and also completed a four-month internship at the Sherbourne Health Center/HIV Clinic, in Toronto, Canada.  Dr. Laurie earned her bachelor's degree from the Human Biology and LIfe Sciences Honorsw program at the University of Toronto.  As a physician, she finds great joy in helping people live healthier, higher quality, pain-free lives.  She is expert in providing her patients with personalized treatment plans through a holistic approach to treating mind and body as one. Dr. Teitelman is an active member of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians.  In her free time she enjoys cooking, traveling and being active.
