Reiki
Reiki is a hands-on healing technique from Japan and means transcendent life force. This subtle vibrational force surrounds and permeates every living thing. Reiki enhances wellness by gently encouraging balance throughout the entire system - body, mind, and spirit.
The practitioner places their hands on or above the client's body. Reiki clears and enhances energy according to what the body needs. The client remains fully clothed, and lies on a massage table. During sessions clients sometimes experience a deep feeling of relaxation, warmth, tingling, and visual imagery. Reiki is very gentle and there are no negative side effects.
Reflexology
Reflexology balances the nervous system by stimulating the nerve endings of the feet, which connect with the spinal nerves and their corresponding organs. It works with the circulatory system breaking up congestion and deposits in the feet, which also stimulates the corresponding organs and helps detoxify the body.
Potential Benefits:
- Over 170 studies of reflexology have demonstrated the following:
- Reduces stress and brings about relaxation
- Promotes balance and normalization of the body's functions
- Improves circulation and delivery of oxygen and nutrients to all the cells in the body
